Our monthly Virtual Parent’s Night is moving to Wednesday evenings this Fall.  Our next Virtual Parent’s Night Out Workshop is Wednesday September 20 at 7:00 PM and our topic is IEPs (Individual Education Plans)!  

Our Presenter will be Teacher of the Visually Impaired and parent of a blind teen, Winnie Lee.

We’ll discuss such topics as:

• What is an IEP?

• How can I include my child in the IEP meeting?

• What can I ask for in regards to blindness and visual impairment?

• How and when should I follow up on things not being addressed in the IEP?

Note: As always, there will also be time to socialize with each other following the facilitated discussion.
