Camp Limitless Summer Camp

Come join Blind Beginnings at Camp Limitless this summer, taking place at Camp Potlach located on Anvil Island, on August 23 - 27, 2024.

This annual camp is open to children or youth who are blind or partially sighted and are welcome to attend individually, or with their families!

What to Expect: Opportunities to try activities such as archery, canoeing, kayaking, rock-climbing, hiking, swimming and team-building.

Children and youth to participate in a variety of outdoor activities including;

  • A chance to play on the beach and swim in the ocean

  • Delicious food prepared by the camp

  • Campfire songs and skits

  • An opportunity to connect with others who are living with blindness or partial sight.

Accommodations: There are cabins for those children and youth who come without their parents. The cabins consist of bunks but each camper must bring their own sleeping bag and pillow.

Meals: All food is provided by Camp Potlach. Campers will be asked to assist with set up and clean up before and after each meal.

Travel to Anvil Island: Travel to Camp Potlach will occur via Water Taxi departing from Horseshoe Bay on August 23 at 11 AM and returning after camp concludes on August 27 at 1:45 PM.

Cost: The cost for the camper who is blind or partially sighted is $80 and the cost for each additional family member is $125.

This cost includes accommodations, activities and meals. All campers must be paid-up members of Blind Beginnings in order to attend.
