BLIND BEGINNINGS IS GROWING!
Blind Beginnings has been steadily growing our programs and services over the past few years and with in-person programming once again beginning to take place, we are excited to announce the following staff additions and changes to the Blind Beginnings Team:
Keisha Anderson (keisha@blindbeginnings.ca),who joined us back in April is our full-time Programs and Membership Coordinator
Dougie Dow (dougie@blindbeginnings.ca), who has been facilitating some of our programs has joined us as our part-time Youth Programs Coordinator
Bruce Taylor (bruce@blindbeginnings.ca), has just joined the team as our part-time Family Programs Coordinator
Ariadna Gomez (ari@blindbeginnings.ca), joined us back in June as our part-time Administration and Volunteer Manager
Randi Poitras (randi@blindbeginnings.ca), joined us on a casual basis back in March and will be continuing on as a part-time Administrative Assistant
Our hybrid model of working from home and in the office has given us the opportunity to bring on staff members from areas outside the Lower Mainland, and we are excited to be able to provide programs and services in areas such as the Okanagan and Vancouver Island on a more regular basis.
We are thrilled to welcome our new team members to the Blind Beginnings team and to be able to subsequently expand our programs and services to our members all over the Province!
